H.E. Dato’ Astanah Abdul Aziz, Deputy Secretary‑General of ASEAN for ASEAN Political‑Security Community, visited Osaka for the World Expo 2025. She met pavilion heads of ASEAN Member States and external partners of ASEAN (France, Germany, Japan, and the US), engaged with the UN and other organisations to strengthen cooperation for peace, humanitarian works as well as on sustainable development. The Expo serves as an ideal platform for ASEAN to showcase its cultural diversity, innovative initiatives and commitment to multilateralism, reinforcing its position as a key player in international diplomacy.
